Caring for Pets Influences Behavior

Applied Developmental Science recently published an article by the researchers of Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. It says young adults who care for animals also develop a stronger social relationship. 500 participants aged 18-26 and predominately female participants were observed in terms of attitudes and interaction with animals. The inference of the study was human-animal interaction (HAI) linked to positive youth development and in the same topic the paper was published.  This provides a new insight towards understanding the role of animals in our lives.
